Sunny Sunday with Andrew (w/ Photos & Updates)

Hi, everyone! Good Sunday to you all! How are you, guys, doing? Enjoying the beautiful, gorgeous weather, huh? I am, matter-of-fact. Thank you, God, for all the blessings you bestowed on us!

As usual when it's Sunday, I go to church with my wife and sis-in-law Rose (and daughter Tintin, every other Sunday). That's what we did today, sans Tintin who told us that she's spending the weekend in C-ville because she and her fellow college advisers are having a meeting there. She'll be back to her work in D-ville, I learned. (She's back there already, as soon as I posted this blog post. She just called us a few minutes ago. Thank God.)

After Mass, we ate (lunch) out with our friends Mike and Myrna at a Chinese restaurant. We had a good time, after months of not having a sort of get-together with them. Enjoyed their company, as usual, sharing stories and happenings, etc.

We drove back home afterwards. Then Rose went to her part-time job. Freny and I, still in our church clothes, took some photos. I also took pictures outside, in our backyard. Then, I shared them to our Facebook friends after having imported/uploaded them. While doing it, our son Andrew called us, telling us he's driving home (after attending a wedding of one of his friends yesterday) to see us for a few hours before he goes back to DC where he currently works. Before 3 pm, Andrew arrived. But, of course, we're glad and thankful to see him home again. How much we wanted him to spend the night with us but he said he didn't request a day off from work, in advance. Well, what can we do but carpe diem, seize the moment! (Btw, as I'm writing this blog post in our living room, he's taking a nap upstairs in his room, while Freny is preparing something for dinner.)

Update #1: Andrew just left home minutes ago for The Capital. Wishing him a safe (road) trip. Hopefully he'll arrive there safely just after midnight. May God bless him and keep him safe from harm! (In three days, he'll have his birthday. For the record, we already gave him his presents today. Advance Happy Birthday, Son! May you have many more to come.) Thank you, good and gracious God. Thank you, Jesus!
Update #2: @ 0025, 4.15.13, our son Andrew called Freny in her cellphone to let us know that the former has finally arrived safely in The Capital/The Land of Mary. Thank God. And thank you, Lord Jesus!-caq
