My Family at Home on Easter 2013 (with Pictures)

Happy Easter Sunday, everyone! I can't believe I fell ill this Easter weekend! But I'd rather be the one to get sick than my family members, you know. Thank God, I'm alive. Although not so well. That's okay. God loves me still, anyway, I believe so. And we're together again as one family this Easter 2013. That's all that matters to me...our oneness and togetherness, even for a day or two. I'm feeling a little better now. Thank you, God, and to you guys who prayed for me. Do appreciate it.

For those of you, dear folks and friends, who have been following/reading my blog, on a regular basis, you know so well that I've been experiencing symptoms of flu the past couple of days. Yes, I do have that influenza-like illness as confirmed by my doctor when I visited the ER yesterday afternoon (because I felt I was getting worse). That's why I've been on medications and bed rest, at home, since that hospital visit yesterday.

Except me, my family attended the Easter Sunday service at our parish this morning. Actually, they attended two services---one Catholic and one other Christian church where my daughter Tintin played piano for that church. Glad and thankful I am that my son and my daughter have been home for the weekend. But Andrew just left over an hour ago for The Capital where he works. Wished him a safe trip! But before he left, we had sort of a family pictorial or random photo sessions in the house. I just uploaded to and shared the photos with our Facebook friends  about two-three hours ago?

Though I didn't attend the church service this morning, I, nevertheless, attended an online Catholic Mass and another Easter Service on YouTube, posted by DukeChapel. Thanks, YouTube and DukeChapel. Besides, my wife Freny got me a communion host from our parish, St. Paul's Catholic this morning and I did receive the consecrated "Body of  Christ" from her.

Here are some of the souvenir photos of our Family Easter 2013 that we've taken today and I'm glad to share them with you guys. (My sis-in-law Rose wasn't in this pictorial because she's in her part-time job. My wife Freny said that after the church services and their lunch at a seafood restaurant, she, Andrew and Tintin drove or dropped Rose to her work.) Hope you like and enjoy them.

Well, this is all for now. Thanks for your company. Until next time around. Take care and Have a Blessed Easter, everyone! Yes, we're glad and thankful for our faith that Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is risen from the dead! Alleluia! As always, I pray, "May God bless us all!"-chris a. quilpa, 31 Mar 2013
