"Flu-less" and Off to The Capital (with Pictures)

Hello, everyone! Thank God, I've been recovering from "da bug," Or can I safely say now that I'm "flu-less," huh? Btw, how's everyone doing this early spring? Doing well/great? That's good! Hope you've had a blessed and peaceful Easter.

Today, Freny and our young adult daughter Tintin (both still having their Spring Break, but they'll be back to their respective school-work on Monday) and I are off to The Capital, to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smell of early Spring in Washington, DC, and to celebrate Freny's birthday (05 April) here. Tomorrow, we hope to see our young adult son, Andrew, who's currently working in DC. (Btw, he didn't have spring break but spent the Easter weekend with us in 757, otherwise known as Hampton Roads). We've planned to attend the first Friday Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, adjacent to The Catholic University of America. And from there we'll do a little sight-seeing and roaming around DC, after a special birthday luncheon with our beloved birthday celebrant girl, Mama Freny.

So, without further ado, here I am sharing with you, my dear folks and friends, the photos we have taken today on our road trip to DC, and upon arrival at our hotel in DC. Hope you like them. Thank you.
