Off to NEX/Commissary with Freny

Good Wednesday, everyone! Thank God, we're alive and well.

As I write this blog post, I am eating watermelon, and feeling refreshed and relieved from the soaring temperature sweeping around Hampton Roads, and elsewhere in the East Coast. Whew, it's summer-like, undoubtedly! Glad and thankful that our one year-old A/C unit is running efficiently and effectively. Thanks to our friend Chris from Chesapeake who installed it. As you know,  we replaced completely our old one last summer because it malfunctioned and was beyond repair. Anyway, we've had that for twelve years. I tell you, folks and friends, if you don't have air condition unit at home, especially in summer here in the East Coast, you're bound to suffer from the heat and humidity in and around your house, even if you have ceiling fans mounted on each bedroom in your house. That's how it is here, living in the East Coast.

Freny and I went to NEX/Commissary this afternoon, after her arrival at about two from school. She said today is their last day of school. However, she and her fellow teachers will be participating in the school's Graduation Day for high school seniors, this coming Saturday, June 15.

Here's sharing with you our photos that I took today at home and at NEX/Commissary. Hope you liked and enjoyed them. Thank you.

This is all for now, my dear folks and friends. Until next time around. Thanks for your time with me. Take care and have a nice day, everyone! As always, I pray, "May God bless us and keep us all safe from harm always!"-chris a. quilpa, 12 June 2013
