Our family just celebrated Thanksgiving Day 2013 with prayer of gratitude, food, fun, and souvenir photos. Thanks to sis-in-law Rose who paid for our turkey dinner. Thank you, Rose. We have Bill as our guest.
This morning at eleven, my wife Freny and I drove to FeLynn's, a Filipino/Oriental restaurant in Va Beach, which is about 30-minute drive from our place, depending on traffic at the downtown tunnel. There we bought a tray of "pancit bijon," and rice cakes or "bibingka" for dessert. Arriving home from Va Beach, I cooked black eyed-peas and boiled sweet potato. We reheated our ham and the turkey that's already cooked. And baked chocolate cake. Then, the rest is history, my dear folks and friends...
